Hi! I’m Caroline, your Nature Maker provider for Portsmouth, Petersfield, and the surrounding areas.

I live with my husband and our two very active boys in Waterlooville, but I spent my childhood in sunny Portsmouth. I absolutely love where I live—surrounded by beautiful countryside, yet just 20 minutes away from the beach! Being outdoors is where I’m happiest, and I’m lucky that my family feels the same way. We love going for walks, building dens, litter picking, and simply soaking in the beauty
of nature around us.

I’ve been a primary school teacher for 20 years, and for the last 8 years, I’ve worked at a school surrounded by stunning woodlands. It was here that I truly saw how much children benefit from experiencing the outdoors and using natural resources for learning.
There’s nothing I enjoy more than seeing children get messy, dive into arts and crafts, take risks, and develop their self-confidence through play. I also love teaching kids about how to care for our planet in all kinds of ways.

Nature Makers combines everything I believe in and care about, and I’m so excited about inspiring others to get outside and have fun! If you share these values, come and join us for one of our many classes I’ll be offering in the area. Can’t wait to meet you!
