Hello, I’m Elenor, your Nature Makers provider for Cumbria, South.

Having grown up in Cumbria, I have always been in & around The Lake District & love the amazing scenery & landscapes in the county.
From walking the dogs with my husband to playing in the woods with my young son, the outdoors is incredibly important to me.
I enjoy arts & crafts & love to paint & make seasonal decor. I worked as a primary school teacher for twelve years before taking a career break to move overseas for a few years. We returned to England & I expected to go back into teaching but then found Nature Makers which combines my love of the outdoors & my love of everything creative; whether it’s den building & making bows & arrows or taking photographs of natural objects & stunning scenery.

 

Having worked as a teacher, I ventured on many outdoor trips & saw how much children enjoy being around nature & how much they need that time in an outdoor environment.

I am really excited to be running classes in Cumbria South & I hope to see lots of people be inspired by the great outdoors!
